Alexa Giardino | She\Her
RYT 200
Alexa Giardino, 200 RYT has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. During her early 20s, Alexa’s love of yoga deepened, as the practice became her daily retreat from anxiety and a tool to improve her mental health. In 2021, Alexa completed her 200hr yoga training at Jai Yoga School in Slingerlands, NY, where her knowledge of yoga asana and philosophy expanded. Shortly after completing her 200-hour certification, Alexa completed a 100-hour Kundalini training, 20-hour Yin Yoga Training, 20-hour mindfulness training, and yoga teacher training for anxiety, depression and trauma. Off the mat, Alexa works as a licensed School Social Worker and is grateful to learn from the individuals she works with on and off the mat. Blending her understanding of mental health and love of yoga, Alexa creates a welcoming, safe, fun, and explorative environment for all those who join her. She believes it is essential for individuals to feel comfortable and safe in their yoga practice. Alexa encourages individuals to explore and find what feels good in their bodies and finding ease in their lives.

Amanda Paladino | She/Her
RYT 200
Amanda studied yoga in the rainforest of Moyobamba, Peru at Moksha Yoga Amazonica. She started doing yoga when she was a child, and remembers following along with her mom as she practiced. Yoga has been there for her throughout her life, but it wasn’t until 2019 when she was studying for the bar exam that Amanda found the true solace a yoga practice can bring, and how it felt like coming home to herself.
Amanda’s belief is that yoga is for everybody, regardless of experience level, and she feels passionately about using movement and breath to cultivate a sense of peace and harmony within oneself. She considers herself a forever student of this ancient practice, and feels deep fulfillment from learning about the many facets of yoga and its history. Her goal is to create a safe and magical atmosphere in class where all feel at ease and inspired.
Off the mat, Amanda enjoys hiding away with a good book, music (which she loves to blend into her classes in creative ways), poetry, being in nature, travel and learning about different cultures, & spending loving quality time with her partner, her puppy-child, and her treasured friends/family.

Jackie | She /Her
RYT 200
Jackie Weckesser is a Yoga Alliance 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher, completing her Training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Ayurveda in 2018. Her journey with the practice began many years ago in an unusual fashion, as a recommendation from her orthopedic surgeon to alternatively heal an injury/inflammation. Here began the growing interest in this ancient Svadhyaya, or self-study. “For me, Yoga is about looking inside, trying to understand the connection of the physical, with the spiritual, and the emotional; and as constantly using the practical to improve not only myself, but those who I am fortunate to guide and teach their practice.” Jackie is a Licensed Master Social Worker, and has enjoyed a 35+ year career working with Seniors in health care. One of her great joys is teaching chair yoga to Elders with Alzheimer’s & Dementia.
“You get way more than you give”.

Linda | She/ Her
RYT 500, ASFA PT
Linda comes from an athletic background. In high school, she ran track and played tennis; played Division 1 tennis at Siena College, and now is a volunteer coach of the local Special Olympics tennis team. She has her black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and enjoys cycling, hiking and lifting weights. Her teenage children, family, and work keep her busy otherwise.
Linda first stepped on a yoga mat in 2000, but in 2016, she needed something to help balance her busy life as a mother, lawyer, judge, and volunteer, and to help manage persistent back pain. She began to appreciate yoga’s non-physical aspects as much as the asana. A moving mediation, yoga on the mat provides a chance to work on life’s challenges and to tone one’s ability to respond, rather than react, to difficult interactions.
2020 brought many changes for all, including the gift of slowing life down. Linda completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Styles Yoga in January 2021 and her 500-hour yoga teacher training with My Vinyasa Practice in July 2021. Linda is a registered RYT-500 Yoga Alliance teacher & certified in personal training & foam rolling through the American Sports & Fitness Association.
