Our Philosophy

At OM Shanti, we believe in the wisdom of holistic medicine to heal the mind, body, and spirit. Our approach integrates ancient practices with modern techniques to promote transformation toward wholeness and healing.

OM Shanti is a mantra. It is the repetition of a vibration to achieve a specific energetic result. You can do this with vocal cords or mentally. You may have chanted this mantra in a yoga class you took. 

OM shanti, shanti, shanti. 

OM is said to be the sound of reality. The vibration that holds all of exsitence together. 
Shanti means peace. So when we chant OM shanti we are attempting to tap into the underlying energy of peace that pervades the universe. 

According to the philosophy of yoga, the very essence all of reality is peace. It is a wholeness that we all have with us at all times. We just need to dig through the many issues of being human to find that peaceful, joyful spark of existence. 

This is the vision of OM Shanti. We are driven to offer some salve for the issues so you can experience more peace.
