Re-opening at OM Shanti:

The health and safety of our community is our top priority, and we ask for your assistance in keeping yourself and others safe during these times.

  1. STAY HOME: If you exhibit flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or breathing difficulties or a rise in temperature, please stay home! Anyone displaying symptoms such as fever, coughing or sneezing will be asked to leave.
  2. SANITIZING: Our efforts to keep our studio germ free include cleaning and sanitizing countertops, door handles, bathroom fixtures, floors, and often-touched areas every day, in-between clients and before and after classes.  We ask that you wash/sanitize your hands before and after you enter the building and maintain safe distancing at all times.
  3. FRESH AIR: Our studio is fully equipped with HEPA Air filters in all yoga & massage rooms.
  4. Every person will have their temperature taken upon arrival. Anyone registering 100.4 or higher will be sent home.
  5. Masks are required at all times.

We thank you in advance for helping keeping our community safe!

Studio Etiquette
Keep in mind OM Shanti is a sacred space, and a sanctuary for introspection.

Remove Your Shoes

Whether you are visiting for a yoga class, a healing arts appointment, or just browsing the boutique, we kindly ask that you leave your shoes at the door.

Silence Your Cell Phone

Please remember to silence your cell phone!  Please avoid phone calls, and allow yourself to enjoy “you” time. If you must make a call please make sure it is not going to distract others.

Speak and Move With Intention

Be mindful of the sounds you create, and where.  Treatment rooms encompass the space, filled with people in deep relaxation. Please walk with intention to avoid disturbing yoga downstairs, and speak softly so everyone can enjoy their time!

Arrive 5-10 Minutes Early For Classes & Healing Arts Appointments.

This allows plenty of time to settle in and get centered. Check in at the front desk, grab a cup of tea or water and have a seat on the couch or head down to the Yoga Space.

Respect and Listen to Your Body

Let your instructor/ practitioner know about any injuries or conditions that might affect your practice or healing arts session. Your instructor/ practitioner will provide you with appropriate modifications. Be mindful of anatomical limitations. Your practice/ healing arts session will be different every single day.

Practice Cleanliness

Apply the yogic principle of saucha, which means “purity.” Avoid heavy fragrances that many trigger allergies or headaches for others.

Don’t Skip Savasana

The final 5-15 minutes of a yoga class is Savasana, or final relaxation. It is vital to your practice. It’s a time for stillness and deep rest that lets your body fully receive the benefits of yoga. If you absolutely must leave early, let your teacher know prior to class and leave quietly before Savasana starts. Be sure to allow sufficient time to collect your mat and belongings.

We thank you in advance for respecting the Space.
